the owner + creator and her mission ::
After graduating from college with a degree in interior design and developing a deep love for textile design, I set out on a quest to find my true calling, my passion. I moved to Los Angeles for a job in fashion, and a curtain was unveiled behind the scenes of where many of our consumer goods come from, who makes them, and what happens to the pieces after the consumer is done with them. It was shocking to say the least.
In the fast-paced world that we’re living in, replacement is constant. We seem to have lost our responsibility to create goods that are made to last. As a lover of our beautiful planet and the people who live on it, I made a decision to choose another path, and hope to show others that there is a more sustainable way to do business.
Through my work, I am able to travel around the globe and establish a web of connections with makers, craftsmen and true artists. It is my mission to bring these connections to you, so that the goods we buy are more than things; they’re a story, a snapshot of the life of another culture, a keepsake and an heirloom. It is my hope that through weaving this connection, we own less and love more.
